PROJECT LOVE FOR AFRICA
This year the parishioners of St. Anthony’s had a unique opportunity to help children living in the diocese of Homa Bay in Kenya, Africa who have been severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. Many of these children have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and are not being cared for properly by their relatives.
“The Notre Dame Children Outreach” program helps these kids mostly by making sure that they are enrolled in school and that they have proper nutrition and decent clothing to wear. Sr. Rosanne Rustemeyer, the Development Director of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, spoke at all the masses on February 13 and 14, 2016 about the plight of these children and how we could help.
