Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds. (CCC 1316)
OVERVIEW OF THE CONFIRMATION PROCESS
Confirmation Policy-The Sacrament of Confirmation for children of catechetical age is conferred upon those who have been Baptized, received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, have been instructed in their faith and have demonstrated a capacity and willingness to participate in the life of the Church.
Confirmation is generally celebrated in the Spring of 8th Grade. It is expected that students have successfully completed grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 6. 7 & 8. If a student has missed any years of instruction they will need to be assessed and placed in the appropriate grade level.

La confirmación perfecciona la gracia bautismal; es el sacramento el que da al Espíritu Santo para arraigarnos más profundamente en la filiación divina, incorporarnos más firmemente en Cristo, fortalecer nuestro vínculo con la Iglesia, asociarnos más estrechamente con su misión y ayudarnos a dar testimonio de La fe cristiana en palabras acompañada de hechos. (CCC 1316)
DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL DEL PROCEDIMIENTO DE CONFIRMACIÓN
Política de confirmación: el sacramento de confirmación para los niños en edad catequética se confiere a los que han sido bautizados, recibieron los sacramentos de la reconciliación y la eucaristía, han recibido instrucción sobre su fe y han demostrado su capacidad y voluntad para participar en la vida de la Iglesia.
La Confirmación generalmente se celebra en la primavera del octavo grado. Se espera que los estudiantes hayan completado con éxito los grados 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 6. 7 y 8. Si un estudiante ha perdido algún año de instrucción, deberá ser evaluado y colocado en el nivel apropiado.
