Meet the ESSENTIAL PREP Volunteers

More than 60 volunteers support our Parish Religious Education Program and strive to make St. Anthony of Padua an exceptional Parish in the Diocese of Trenton.  Our featured volunteer this week is:

 

Suzanne Gucciardo

Mrs. Gucciardo has been a PREP volunteer for one year.  Mrs. Gucciardo tell us that she began as a volunteer to “help my parish out with the Religious instruction program and is my way of thanking God for the great things I have in life”.

Miss Suzanne, the name her students call her, said her biggest challenge was, “Trying to have fun and “teach” my first graders at the same time!”

“My biggest reward is being able to take, [the children], into the second grade to make their First Reconciliation and First Communion.”

We strive to bring our Faith in Jesus alive for the over 630 children who attend our weekly Parish Religious Education Program, PREP.  Prayerfully consider joining us as we bring Sacraments, Service, and Smiles to our Parish families.
